Thursday morning, construction crews began the very first stages of building the new, state-of-the-art, 95-bed Nemours Children’s hospital in Lake Nona’s Medical City. Workers began by laying the groundwork, including underground piping and utilities.

In addition to healthcare, this project will create jobs and a lot of them. During the construction phase alone, there will be 5,000 jobs created.
