Tiger Woods is facing pressure from rival golfers to make a full public confession about his extra-marital affairs before he attempts to revive his golfing career.
Woods has been trying to lie low since the November car crash which laid bare details of more than a dozen secret girlfriends during his marriage to wife Elin. But the American media have finally tracked him down to a clinic for sex addicts in Mississippi.
He is still not making any public statements and his management team have given no hints about plans to return to playing.
However, there is increasing speculation that Woods will play in the Tavistock Cup in America in March, when the top professionals who are members of his exclusive Isleworth Club take on their rivals from nearby Lake Nona in Orlando.
With public access to the Tavistock Cup limited to club members and media coverage strictly controlled, it would give Woods the chance to reappear in public with minimal fuss.
