The Orange County school district is taking steps to address student overcrowding because portables aren’t enough.

The district is looking to build a $37 million relief school on 26 acres near Innovation Way South and Wewahootee Road.

The new school would hold about 1,200 students and Wednesday’s meeting is to show parents the plans.
